As we headed into the Tropical Reef Restaurant, we met a friend of ours, Rosemary Coyne, coming out with takeout for her and her husband Mike. She raved about the seafood chowder!
Once inside, we were greeted by Cynthia, the charming wife of owner/chef Bryan "Bubba" Sutton. A former employee of Campiello's, Bryan is known for his presentation and artful, subtle sauces. He came out to greet us and then hurried back to create culinary magic in the kitchen.

Seafood. Just like that infamous little girl with the curl…when it's good it's very good, and unfortunately, when it's bad…well, you finish the sentence. We recently went fishing for a great seafood restaurant and ended up with one surprising great new catch and one old favorite that sadly wasn't a keeper.
